Tips to improve your English @ home !
Here is some advice on how to keep / improve
your English while you are at home
On Netflix or on TV, you can configure the settings in "English" with French subtitles first, then when your level has improved with English subtitles. (paramètres / langues / anglais)
- Here is a list of good programs to watch:
-"Friends" on TV at 8pm, also available on Netflix (US accent)
-"Malcolm" on TV at 11:30am (US accent)
-"The Crown" (Netflix / British accent)
-''Orgueil et Préjugés/ Pride and prejudice" (Netflix / British accent)
-"Forrest Gump" (Netflix / American accent)
-''The Social Network'' (Netflix / American accent)
-"Stranger things" (Netflix / American accent)
2. Download one or two radio applications on your phone and listen to the radio (music or news programs).
-BBC iplayer (British Broadcasting Channel)
-CNN or NBC News (USA news)
3. Listen to music by English-speaking singers, and try to understand the lyrics.
